  1. What are your coupon exclusions?
    While specifics may vary from coupon to coupon, these exceptions are universal: Alex and Ani, Brighton, David Simpson Gallery and Corradetti Glass Gallery art, LEGO, in-store printing, DVDs, magazines, special orders, special editions, prior purchases, entertainment coupon books, postage stamps, sale and charitable merchandise.   2. Will you deliver the balloons for my party?
    Greetings & Readings will inflate balloons for you right here in the store at the Balloon Desk. You can pick them up or have them delivered right to your local party!
  3. Can I pick up my order at the store?
    Save on shipping and stop in to see what else we have to offer by choosing In-Store Pick Up as the shipping option for your internet order. Internet orders are processed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. You will be notified when your order has been processed and is ready for pick up. At that time, visit the Customer Service desk on your next trip to Greetings & Readings and an associate will be happy to bring you your completed purchase.
  4. Is everything from your store shown online?
    Not even close! The website is a great place to become familiar with the store, look for deals and exclusives, and sample a small percentage of what we have to offer, but for the true shopping experience you'll have to visit us right here at the Hunt Valley Towne Centre in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
  5. What if my order is out of stock?
    If something you order is out of stock, Greetings & Readings will contact you by phone or by e-mail to see if you want to wait for a backorder, or if a substitution can be made. Your credit card will not be charged until the matter is resolved.
  6. What is your return policy?
    Regular merchandise must be returned before 30 days to receive credit card refund. Regular merchandise returned after 30 days will receive a store credit. No returns or exchanges after 90 days.

    With a gift slip or no receipt, a store credit will be issued. For regular priced merchandise, returns up to 90 days or without a gift slip, a store credit will be issued at the lowest sale price.

    Seasonal merchandise may be exchanged or returned up to two days before the holiday.

    Merchandise must be in original box. LEGO sets must be unopened and in their original condition; this may apply to other items as deemed appropriate by store management. Gift cards are redeemable for merchandise only. Call the store at 410-771-3022 if you need to return an item you purchased online.
  7. What is your shipping policy?
    Most items online or in-store can be shipped to you using UPS Ground (or, when appropriate, USPS Priority or FedEx Ground) and will typically ship on the business day following the placement of your order, or once the item arrives in stock. A flat rate will apply* (this rate is always lower than the actual UPS shipping charge). While UPS continues to increase its rate with fuel surcharges, residential delivery surcharges and more, Greetings & Readings helps maintain a competitive shipping rate by sharing some of the cost with you.

    Please enter your shipping address carefully; UPS charges an $11 fee if the address provided needs to be corrected. Typically, Greetings & Readings cannot deliver to addresses outside the United States.

    Orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii may be assessed an additional fee once the actual shipping charge has been established, and you will be notified of the change before your card is charged. In the event of a backorder, you will be notified and your item(s) will be shipped as soon as they become available.

    *Some oversized packages or other exceptions may require a higher shipping rate, but you will be notified of the change before your card is charged. Some items may feature item specific shipping costs while others may be offered with the shipping fee waived as a special bonus. If every item in your cart is listed as free shipping, there will be no charge for the shipping service.
  8. Can I use a Greetings & Readings Gift Card for my online purchase?
    When you purchase something from this site, you can fill out the shopping cart information as you would a normal credit card order. Before you submit your final order, there will be a text box in which you can enter your Greetings & Readings Gift Card information including the complete number on the card and the amount remaining, if available. Your Gift Card will be used and your credit card will only be charged if there is a balance.

    Exceptions: Unfortunately, the Greetings & Readings Gift Card is not accepted at our partnering websites including our Books, Movies & Music Warehouse, our online partnership with Vera Bradley and our online Custom Printing albums.
  9. How will my charge appear on my credit card statement?
    When you use your credit card to make a secure purchase from the Greetings & Readings website, your credit card statement will show Greetings & Readings as if you had made the purchase in the store itself. The charge will appear under a different name if you make an order with one of our partnering websites including our Books, Movies & Music Warehouse, our online partnership with Vera Bradley and our online Custom Printing albums.   10. Do you offer gift wrapping?
    Sure! Greetings & Readings offers a complimentary white paper or white box with red tulle ribbon for your purchase, but more elaborate gift wrap is also available. Visit the Customer Service desk for details. To request complimentary gift wrap for your online order, use the text box before submitting your order to let us know you're interested.
  11. What are your store hours?
    Our Store Hours are listed on the About Us page. Greetings & Readings is open seven days a week with some exceptions including the Christmas and Easter holidays.
  12. How do I make a purchase in the David Simpson Gallery Shop?
    If there is a piece of artwork you'd like to purchase on display in the David Simpson Gallery Shop, Customer Service or a Store Manager can assist you with your purchase. The David Simpson Gallery Shop is its own entity, so Greetings & Readings gift cards and coupons do not apply.
